Is Site Loading Speed Important?

Google now ranks websites on the speed it loads on a mobile. This means that you must have fast hosting and a well designed site. These are the things that we work hard to provide.
 
If you already have a website you can test its speed on gmetrix though you will need a free sign up to test from Europe, but it will give you a good insight into how your site is performing.

What is a Mobile Responsive Design?

Whether you are looking for a contemporary or modern look it is important that it performs like a modern website. For this to happen it must load quickly and also look great on mobile devices.
 
Over 50% of website are now viewed on mobile devices, and sometimes with slow connection speeds. We design sites that not only resize and display well on these devices, but also deliver a more simplistic and mobile friendly site that will engage your customers.
 
If a mobile site takes more than 3 seconds to load, 50% of people tend not to explore any further. These are potentially lost customers.

What Does Good Hosting Mean?

Good hosting can mean your site loads in under a second compared to 3 or 4. This is very important and why we provide you with a hosting service that will suit your needs. We currently offer space on some of the fastest cloud hosting which offers regular back ups and the ability to give you your own cpanel account if needed. Whilst our standard hosting is on a shared server it has it’s own dedicated IP that we montitor and control in order to maintain it’s reputation.
 
Should you need more specialised hosting, then this can be obtained also at a good price, or we can advise you on what you should be looking for and why.
 
Our standard hosting deal is £120 a year including renewal of your .co.uk domain name if it is hosted with us.

Can I have my own email addresses?

The question is how to pick this mail up and send it, and there are a number of different ways.

If you host with us or another host, you should be able to log directly into the hosts email page and view and send email there. This however isn’t always as user friendly as people would like.

Gmail is good for collecting and sending mail and you can add as many accounts as you like. The problem here is that you cannot guarantee GDP compliancy unless you sign up to the paid version of gsuite.

Mail can be collected directly on your computer or your phone through the native mail apps or programs if you add the account there and this can work well. One issue with this may be privacy as although your phone may have a password on it, most mail apps do not.

A good solution to this can be to use the outlook app and add the email account in there. This app can be set to unlock with fingerprint id in the settings page and this will help keep your business emails secure.
